Het voltallige personeel was aanwezig bij de &#8216;line off&#8217; van een <em>Dynamic Grey<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/carnold.nl\/en\/rij-impressie-toyota-yaris-gr-sport\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yaris GR Sport<\/a>. Die auto was de tien miljoenste Toyota Yaris die geproduceerd is. Carnold was aanwezig bij de ceremonie en het mag gezegd worden: dat was een hele belevenis.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"1140\" height=\"642\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5jIcne-4SDw?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>De Yaris wordt in meerdere <em>plants<\/em> geproduceerd, en in Europa zelfs in twee fabrieken: bij TMMF in Valenciennes, en in bij Toyota Motor Manufacturing Czech Republic in Kolin. De fabriek in Valenciennes produceert sinds Januari 2001 uitsluitend Yarissen, en sinds juli 2021 ook de Yaris Cross. Elke 50 seconden loopt er een Yaris of Yaris Cross van de band, 1.200 per dag, 280.000 dit jaar. Duizelingwekkende aantallen, maar zelfs daarmee ben je niet zomaar op het aantal van 10 miljoen. In december 2020 produceerde TMMF haar 4 miljoenste Yaris. Opvallend is het succes van de <a href=\"https:\/\/carnold.nl\/en\/rijtest-toyota-yaris-cross\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yaris Cross<\/a>, die blijkens de formulering van de plantmanagers zelfs de fabriek verraste. In 2022 werd het productierecord gevestigd met 255.584 auto&#8217;s, tweederde daarvan was een Yaris Cross, die uitsluitend in Valenciennes geproduceerd wordt. Dankzij de productie in Tsjechi\u00eb kan aan de vraag naar de &#8216;gewone&#8217; Yaris voldaan worden. Overigens kan de fabriek in Frankrijk elke uitvoering van de Yaris bouwen, terwijl de fabriek in Tsjechi\u00eb alleen bepaalde uitvoeringen kan bouwen.<\/p>\n<p>Zeg je Yaris, dan denk je meteen aan een Hybrid.
