De vraag naar de 3 is echter zo groot dat de levertijden flink begonnen op te lopen. Dat succes is de Mazda-mensen in Japan niet ontgaan en daarom is de productie voor de Nederlandse markt flink opgeschroefd. Daarmee herhaalt de geschiedenis zich voor Mazda.<!--more-->Enkele jaren terug werd Mazda ook al min of meer verrast door het succes van de CX-5, waardoor de productie en productiecapaciteit flink moesten worden opgevoerd. Hetzelfde gebeurt nu met de Mazda 3. Wie nu een nieuwe 3 bestelt bij de dealer hoeft niet een halfjaar te wachten op de levering van zijn of haar auto. Het merk heeft een <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mazda.com\/mazdaspirit\/craftmanship\/mx-5\/mx-5_25th\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">speciale website<\/a> in het leven geroepen om het jubileum te vieren. Op deze website krijgen bezoeker een kijkje achter de schermen van de ontwikkeling van de MX5 en komen de ingenieurs die aan de MX-5 hebben gewerkt, aan het woord. De website dient tevens als communicatie en interactieplatform voor MX-5 fans van over de gehele wereld. En uiteraard kunnen ook liefhebbers zonder een MX-5 in hun bezit hier hun hart ophalen. Deze uitvoering heeft een aantal contrasterende elementen in het in- en exterieur waardoor hij meer in het oog springt ten opzichte van de Mazda 2 Cool waarop hij gebaseerd is. Het zijn de kleine dingen die &#8217;t doen en daardoor staat deze 2 er fris en gekleurd op.
