Begin volgend jaar moet de nieuweling bij de Mitsubishi-dealers staan. Als opwarmertje maakte Mitsubishi de line-up voor de motoren bekend. Deze bestaat uit krachtige downsize-motoren, full hybrids en uiteraard een plug-in hybrid. De kleinste motor is een 1.0 benzinemotor die aan een handgeschakelde zesbak gekoppeld wordt. Het vermogen van dit blokje ligt op 67 kW (91 pk) &#8211; dat doet vermoeden dat de nieuwe ASX een tikje kleiner is dan het vorige model. <a href=\"https:\/\/carnold.nl\/en\/rijtest-mistubishi-asx-instyle-2-0-cvt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">De vorige ASX<\/a> was een C-segmenter, de nieuwe wordt in het B-segment gepositioneerd. De tweede motor in de reeks is een viercilinder turbo met 1.6 liter inhoud. Deze wordt leverbaar in twee vermogensvarianten: 140 en 158 pk. Deze motor kan geleverd worden met een zeventraps automaat als alternatief voor de handgeschakelde versnellingsbak.<\/p>\n<p>De Hybride is een bijzondere motor, volgens bekend Mitsubishi-recept: Mitsubishi koppelt een 1.6 benzinemotor via een multi-mode transmissie aan twee elektromotoren. Dit levert een systeemvermogen van 107 kW (145 pk), de elektromotoren worden gevoed vanuit een compacte 1,3 kWh accu. Tot slot de Mitsubishi ASX PHEV: die krijgt dezelfde aandrijflijn als de hybride, maar de accucapaciteit is vergroot tot 10,5 kWh en het motorvermogen ligt op 118 kW, oftewel 160 pk.<\/p>\n<p>Mitsubishi heeft hooggespannen verwachtingen van de nieuwe ASX. De CEO van Mitsubishi Motors legt uit waarom het merk inzet op zo&#8217;n breed motorenaanbod: \u201cDe nieuwe generatie Mitsubishi ASX is een aantrekkelijke auto met een reeks zeer concurrerende aandrijflijnen. De klanteisen en wensen in het Europese B-SUV-segment zijn doorgaans zeer divers, dus is het belangrijk dat ons productaanbod net zo divers is om aan de behoeften van de klanten te kunnen voldoen. Met een veelzijdige SUV en een aanbod dat de nieuwste benzine-, hybride- en plug-in hybride-aandrijflijnen omvat, zijn we ervan overtuigd dat de nieuwe ASX dat ook zal doen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In september zal Mitsubishi de ASX onthullen, deze auto wordt in Valladollid (Spanje) gebouwd op de productielijn van de Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliantie.
