Deze beide modellen zullen in de komende twee jaar gepresenteerd worden. Oh ja, de wankelmotor keert ook terug.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>De reden dat Mazda twee nieuwe SUV&#8217;s op de Europese markt introduceert ligt in de groeiende vraag naar auto&#8217;s in dit marktsegment. Buiten Europa (lees: de Amerikaanse markt) worden ook nog een CX-70 en CX-90 gepresenteerd. Het is nog niet duidelijk of de &#8217;80&#8217; en afzonderlijk model is, of een zevenzits uitvoering van de &#8217;60&#8217;, zoals de <a href=\"https:\/\/carnold.nl\/en\/rijtest-nissan-x-trail\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nissan X-Trail<\/a> en Qashqai. Beide modellen mogen wel het spits afbijten met Mazda&#8217;s nieuwe hybride en mild-hybride technologie. Mazda kondigt tussen de regels door een nieuwe generatie plug-in hybride aan, deze zijn gekoppeld aan de SkyActiv-G viercilinders. De SkyActiv-X en SkyActiv-D krijgen 48 Volt mild-hybride techniek.<\/p>\n<h2>Terugkeer van de wankelmotor<\/h2>\n<p>In slechts twee regeltjes in het persbericht doet Mazda een grootste aankondiging: de terugkeer van de wankelmotor. Ik citeer: &#8220;In addition, during the first half of 2022, a new version of Mazda\u2019s first mass-production EV, the MX-30, will be introduced that incorporates multiple electrification technologies using Mazda\u2019s unique rotary engine as a generator.&#8221; Daarmee volgt Mazda het pad van <a href=\"https:\/\/carnold.nl\/en\/nissan-e-power-technisch-bekeken\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nissan met de e-Power<\/a>, en keert de wankelmotor terug!
