Dat is de derde Lexus die, naast de RC F en de LC 500, geen hybride aandrijflijn heeft. Wel is hij een stuk goedkoper dan de V8&#8217;s: vanaf \u20ac 39.995.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>De UX 200 is niet de enige nieuweling, er is namelijk ook een nieuw uitrustingsniveau, de Preference Line. Dit uitvoeringsniveau kan gecombineerd worden met de UX 200 en de UX 250h. Dit uitrustingsniveau is tijdelijk leverbaar, en is voorzien van een reeks mooie veiligheidssystemen. Zo simpel ligt het echter niet, hoewel beide een CVT transmissie hebben. De UX 250h gebruikt Lexus&#8217; veelgeprezen Hybrid Synergy Drive dat opgebouwd is rond een planetair tandwielstelsel waarin de vermogensstromen van beide elektromotoren en brandstofmotor gecombineerd worden. De UX 200 heeft dus een eigen transmissie met een duwband. De topsnelheid bedraagt 190 kilometer per uur, het gecombineerde verbruik ligt op 6,6 liter per 100 kilometer. De UX 250h heeft een gecombineerd verbruik van 5,5 liter per 100 kilometer.
