Bovendien is het een technische uitdaging voor de fabrikanten om de uitstoot zo ver te drukken dat een auto in de laagst mogelijke bijtellingscategorie komt. De ingenieurs van Lexus zijn aan de slag gegaan met de <a href=\"http:\/\/carnold.nl\/en\/lexus-gs-naar-een-nog-hoger-plan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GS300h<\/a> en zijn er in geslaagd om de CO2-uitstoot nog verder te beperken. De Lexus-techneuten hebben hiervoor drie gram per kilometer van de CO2-uitstoot moeten schaven. Het gecombineerd vermogen bedraagt 164 kW (223 pk), de topsnelheid ligt op 190 kilometer per uur.
