Een volledig elektrische auto die voorzien is van de meest vooruitstrevende technieken om de auto zelfstandig te laten rijden. Volgens geruchten kunnen we in de IDS de lijnen van de tweede generatie Nissan Leaf herkennen. Wat het ook mag worden, de IDS is een buitengewoon interessant vehikel. De techniek beperkt ongelukken als gevolg van menselijke fouten aanzienlijk &#8211; die zijn de oorzaak voor meer dan negentig procent van de aanrijdingen. Daardoor is autorijden straks veiliger, maar ook schoner, effici\u00ebnter en leuker\u2019, <\/em>aldus Ghosn.<\/p>\n<p>De IDS heeft twee rijmodi: Piloted Drive en Manual Drive. In die laatste stand rijdt de bestuurder zelf en heeft volledige controle over de auto. In de Piloted Drive modus rijdt de IDS volledig zelfstandig, het fraaie is echter dat de auto de rijstijl van de bestuurder overneemt. Denk daarbij aan de manier van gasgeven, remmen en het aansturen van bochten.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"1140\" height=\"642\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/aQIFihRV608?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Het interieur van de IDS past zich aan op de gekozen rijmodus. In de autonome rijmodus verdwijnt het stuurwiel in het centrale deel van het dashboard. De bestuurder kan zijn zegje doen over de rijstijl middels gesproken commando&#8217;s en gebaren. Wanneer de bestuurder zelf het heft in handen neemt, transformeert het interieur. Het stuurwiel floept tevoorschijn tezamen met een head-up display. Dankzij de doorzichtige A-stijlen heb je als bestuurder een optimaal zicht op de weg.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"1140\" height=\"642\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/h-TLo86K7Ck?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>De buitenkant van de IDS heeft een opvallend element: de Intention Indicator. Die bestaat uit een reeks led&#8217;s, het is een indicator die aangeeft of de IDS naburige verkeersdeelnemers heeft gesignaleerd.<\/p>\n<p>Het duurt nog even totdat de techniek uitontwikkeld en productierijp is, maar Nissan zet vol in op autonoom rijdende elektrische auto&#8217;s. De aandrijflijn daarentegen herbergt minder toekomstmuziek, hierin zien we duidelijk een voorbode van de toekomstige Leaf. De Nissan IDS heeft een 60 kWh accu die, als we Executive Vice President Hideyuki Sakamoto mogen geloven, een grotere actieradius biedt dan de huidige conventionele brandstoftanks.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nissan noemt &#8216;m de Intelligent Driving Study, oftewel IDS.
