\"Nissan<\/a>Voor de Kei-cars op de thuismarkt hebben Mitsubishi en Nissan in 2011 een speciale joint-venture opgericht. Deze samenwerking resulterde in 2013 in de eerste gezamenlijke ontwikkeling, de Nissan Dayz en de Mitsubishi eK. Beide modellen hebben Mitsubishi en Nissan geen windeieren gelegd, in totaal hebben beide merken een half miljoen van deze oer-Japanse kei-cars verkocht. De NMKV,\u00a0Nissan Mitsubishi Kei Vehicles joint venture, maakte deze week bekend dat het de samenwerking zal verlengen.Binnen dit samenwerkingsverband zal Nissan het ontwerpen en testen voor zijn rekening nemen. In dit geval betekent dat Nissan ook de onderhuidse techniek voor de Kei-cars ontwerpt. Nissan levert een wezenlijke bijdrage aan de veiligheidssystemen aan boord. De NMKV zelf slaat de brug tussen engineering en productie, en Mitsubishi verzorgt de productie in de Mizushima Plant.<\/p>\n

Naast de Dayz en eK verschenen vorig jaar de ruimere versies van beide modellen, de Dayz Roox en de ek Space. Voor Mitsubishi zijn beide eK-versies twee zeer belangrijke modellen, meer dan de helft van de totale Mitsubishi-verkopen in Japan wordt gevormd door deze beide kei-cars. Intussen wordt er gewerkt aan de opvolger van deze vier modellen, en Mitsubishi heeft bekendgemaakt dat er ook een EV versie gewerkt wordt.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
