De Mazda MX-5 heeft zijn jaarlijkse knipbeurt gehad, een bijknipbeurt welteverstaan. Het vermogen van de 1.5 steeg namelijk een klein beetje tot 136 pk en het koppel naar 155 Nm. In de recente test<\/a> bleek de 1.5 een hele fijne motor te zijn voor de MX-5, die eerder ook met een tweeliter SkyActiv-G leverbaar was.<\/p>\n

Nieuw is de MX-5 Yakudo, deze uitvoering krijgt een Alcantara interieur met Recaro sportstoelen, zilverkleurige brembo remklauwen en de nodige zilverkleurige exterieurdetails. Voor het komende modeljaar wordt ook een nieuwe lakkleur beschikbaar: Zinc Green, dit is de kleur die op de foto’s te zien is. Mocht je deze kleur willen bestellen, dan is er nog wel even wat geduld nodig. De productie van de MX-5 in deze kleur start pas dit najaar, en de eerste Zinc Green exemplaren worden pas volgend jaar verwacht. Voor modeljaar 2027 wordt de Driver Attention Alert ook een standaard voorziening op elke MX-5.<\/p>\n
