Voor modeljaar 2026 heeft Mazda een aantal grote en minder grote wijzigingen in het vooruitzicht. De Homura en Homura Plus uitvoeringen krijgen een nieuwe kleurvariant voor het interieur. Het gaat hierbij om een lichtbruin Nappa-lederen interieur met su\u00e8de inzetten die ook op het dashboard toegepast worden. Deze kleurvariant krijgt ook een tweekleurig stuurwiel, terwijl alle versies van deze uitvoeringen geluidsisolerend glas krijgen. Mazda&#8217;s Driver Emergency Assist wordt standaard op beide modelreeksen. Met DEA kan de auto zichzelf veilig tot stilstand brengen, bijvoorbeeld als de bestuurder onwel wordt. De auto waarschuwt de hulpdiensten en ontgrendeld de deuren zodat hulpverleners direct toegang hebben tot het voertuig. Voor de CX-60 wordt het veiligheidssysteem standaard uitgebreid met Smart Brake Support, Head-on collision mitigation, Emergency Lane Keeping en Head-on Traffic Avoidance Assist. Vanaf de Exclusive-Line-uitvoering omvat het ook Smart Brake Support, Front Crossing met Front Cross Traffic Alert, Front Cross Traffic Braking, samen met de Towing Hitch Guide-functie. Nieuw voor beide modellen is de Alexa stemherkenning die ge\u00efntegreerd kan worden met andere Alexa functies. Een leuke toevoeging is het zogenaamde Hybride-navigatiesysteem voor de CX-60. Hiermee kunnen alternatieve routes ingesteld worden waarbij de leukste route langs interessante plaatsen gereden kan worden.
