De KGM Torres is een EV en wordt om die reden minder gehinderd door de BPM-druk en kan als gewone personenauto worden geleverd. Om de trouwe SsangYong \/ KGM klandizie te blijven bedienen (de Rexton Van was relatief populair) heeft KGM nu een Torres Van ontwikkeld.<\/p>\n<p>Door het plaatsen van een tussenschot, het verwijderen van de achterbank en het dichten van de achterste zijruiten voldoet de Torres Van aan de (rare) regels van de Belastingdienst. Het levert wel een laadruimte van 2.100 liter op, en dat is de laadruimte van een busje terwijl je wel de luxe en het comfort van een personenauto hebt. Het maximale laadvermogen is 120 kW, hiermee kan de accu in minimaal 28 minuten worden volgeladen. KGM geeft 10 jaar of 1 miljoen kilometer garantie op de accu, de Torres zelf krijgt 7 jaar garantie.\u00a0KGM heeft de uitrusting van de Torres intact gelaten, alle veiligheids- en comfortsystemen zijn aanwezig: Adaptieve Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, dodehoekdetectie, uitstapbeveiliging, Lane Departure Warning en Autonomous Emergency Braking.
