Net geen zestig mille is de vanafprijs van de nieuwe Hyundai Santa Fe die zeer binnenkort in de Nederlandse Hyundai-showrooms staat. \u20ac 59.595 is de instapprijs voor de Santa Fe Hybrid Comfort, maar als je \u20ac 400 bijlegt krijgt je de sleutels van de vierwielaangedreven Plug-In Hybrid. Tsja, dat is een no brainer<\/em>, nietwaar.<\/p>\n

De Santa Fe is verkrijgbaar in vier uitrustingsniveaus: Comfort, Comfort Smart, Premium en Premium Plus. De Black Line is een speciaal topmodel waar alles op en aan zit: 20-inch lichtmetalen hoogglans zwarte velgen (vandaar de naam Black Line) met 255\/45 R20-banden, een Bose Premium-audiosysteem met 7 luidsprekers en subwoofer, Digital Key 2 en elektrisch verstelbare stoelen voorin met een massagefunctie. Dit alles kost \u20ac 68.995.<\/p>\n

\nDe standaardversie rijdt op 18 inch lichtmetalen velgen en is voorzien van veel (digitale) luxe: dubbele 12,3 inch beeldschermen, DAB+, Hyundai Blue Link, achteruitrijdcamera, draadloze telefoonoplader en schakelflippers voor het regeneratief remmen. De voorstoelen en het stuurwiel zijn verwarmd en uiteraard is het infotainmentsysteem over-the-air<\/em> te updaten.<\/p>\n

Net als alle andere nieuwe Hyundai’s – de Ioniqs incluis – is de Santa Fe een opzienbarende auto. Niet in de laatste plaats vanwege zijn fikse formaat – hij meet 4,83 meter – maar zeker vanwege zijn markante en uitgesproken design. De interieurruimte is overweldigend dankzij zijn wielbasis van 2,81 meter, de kofferbak slikt minimaal 628 (!) liter. Dit is uit te breiden tot 1.949 liter. Dat is bijna twee kubieke meter! Uiteraard is de Santa Fe een uitgelezen auto voor mensen die meer dan vijf personen te vervoeren hebben, hij is namelijk leverbaar als zevenzitter. Hij kan ook als zeszitter geleverd worden, die versie krijgt losse, elektrisch verstelbare stoelen op de tweede zitrij, met een doorloop naar de derde zitrij.<\/p>\n

Voor een auto die gericht is op het vervoer van zeven personen heeft de veiligheid een bijzondere prioriteit gekregen. Hij is (uiteraard) voorzien van Hyundai Smart Sense. Dit systeem omvat Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA 2) dat op de snelweg de vooraf ingestelde afstand tot de voorligger bewaakt en de snelheid automatisch (ook in bochten) aanpast.\u00a0 Wanneer een voertuig direct naast de Santa Fe te dichtbij komt, dan past HDA 2 de positie aan op de weg daarop aan om het risico van een aanrijding te beperken.<\/p>\n

Wat betreft de passieve veiligheid is rijkelijk voorzien in airbags: maar liefst tien airbags zorgen voor optimale bescherming bij een aanrijding: zijairbags voor de tweede zitrij, een knieairbag voor de bestuurder, een airbag tussen de twee voorstoelen, twee airbags voorin, twee zijairbags en twee gordijnairbags die ook de inzittenden op de derde zitrij bescherming bieden.<\/p>\n
